First, I’ve been in your shoes. I’m the parent of a college athlete so I have experience with the process you’re going through right now. I know it’s an exciting time filled with big decisions. I’m also a life-long sports fanatic and I worked in broadcast TV for over 15 years. I’ve been on the field for NFL playoff games, NBA championships, the World Series, the Daytona 500 and college football/basketball postseason games just to name a few.

How long will it take to get my finished video?

In most cases, Reel Sports Recruiting can provide your finished video in 10 business days. 

*We can rush production and create a video in 72 hours for an additional $199 rush fee.

Do I have to use your cloud locker to share video?

Yes. We provide our athletes their own secure cloud locker to protect your security and ours.

Can Reel Sports Recruiting use video I already have cut?

We will do our best to make any video you share look great. It’s best to share the raw game video with Reel Sports Recruiting and let us do the editing. That said, if those clips are high quality and have enough time before and after the “highlight” it can speed up production.

How are my videos being edited?

Reel Sports Recruiting uses industry-standard editing software including Adobe Premiere and DaVinci Resolve Studio to give your video an elite, professional eye-catching look.

What about music?

Coaches often do not listen to the music when reviewing recruiting videos. But we recognize this is also a keepsake, so we encourage you to select the music genre you like best and we will pick a song from our licensed-music library to bring the energy! Note: we do not use music by recording artists due to licensing concerns; streaming platforms like YouTube will flag and remove videos with unapproved commercially licensed music. 

How long are the finished videos?

Videos with up to 15 plays are two or three (2-3) minutes; videos with up to 30 plays range from 4-6 minutes. Each video is unique so there is no “typical” length.

Can I add more plays to my video after next season?

Of course! If you want to add content after another great season, we can update your video with new material for an additional editing fee of $99/hour.

What can I do with the finished video?

The video is yours to share however you want! Share it with universities and colleges of interest, recruiting platforms, social media channels and anywhere else that will help you get your story in front of collegiate recruiters!

What about the Reel Sports Recruiting YouTube Link?

Reel Sports Recruiting will host your video on our YouTube channel as an “unlisted” video, meaning only people with the link can see the video. It will not be searchable. You can copy and paste the link and share it at your discretion. Note: If you give Reel Sports Recruiting permission to use portions of your video in marketing material, we will use a few plays on our social media channels but will not display your contact information.
